Market borrowings to rise in FY27, higher supply likely to weigh on bond markets: NSE Report
New Delhi [India], February 2 (ANI): The Centre's market borrowings are set to rise sharply in FY27, a move that could put pressure on the bond markets, according to a report by the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on the Union Budget 2026-27.
The report said the Centre's gross market fresh borrowings have been pegged at Rs 17.2 lakh crore for FY27, marking a notable increase of 17.7 per cent on a year-on-year basis
