Admitad is excited to announce the release of our official Admitad Tracking Plugin for Shopify — a simple, reliable, and efficient way for Shopify store owners to track orders, attribute conversions, and fully optimize their affiliate marketing campaigns.

Installation basics

Getting started is quick and simple:

1. Register as an Admitad advertiser and request your campaign_code and postback_key from your manager.
2. Install the Admitad Tracking Plugin from the Shopify App Store.
3. Enter your campaign details, set cookie lifetime, and define tracking parameters.

From there, the plugin works automatically in the background — ensuring every eligible order is correctly tracked and attributed.

Current limitation

At this stage, the Admitad Tracking Plugin has a few important restrictions to keep in mind:

• Single target action support — the plugin currently tracks only one target action per campaign (for example, “Paid Order”).
• No support for custom checkout setups — the plugin does not yet work with stores using third-party or modified checkout solutions (such as Kwik COD & Checkout or Razorpay COD & Magic Checkout). These payment gateways rely on custom events within Shopify, which are not compatible with the plugin at this time.
