The former girlfriend of NFL star LeSean McCoy says she is convinced he was involved in her assault. Delicia Cordon's attorney, Tanya Mitchell Graham, said she was pistol-whipped by a masked intruder and the attacker stole two Cartier bracelets. Graham said her client has now moved out of the suburban Atlanta house where she was attacked, but remains traumatized. Dana Jacobson reports.

11 dead, 5 missing after tour boat capsizes in Branson, Missouri

Eleven people are confirmed dead and police say five are still missing after a tour boat capsized and sank on Table Rock Lake in Branson, Missouri, during a powerful thunderstorm. Some of the victims are children. Thirty-one people were on the boat when it went under Thursday night. Venton Blandin reports.

27 reported tornadoes tear through Iowa

Several Iowa cities are assessing damage after being slammed by a series of destructive tornadoes Thursday. The National Weather Service received reports of 27 tornadoes. Winds in some areas topped 120 mph and at least 17 people are injured. Dean Reynolds reports.

The construction of a new school project near Houston has turned into a teachable moment after construction uncovered human remains from a disturbing period of Texas history. Archaeologists say the site was the burial ground for almost 100 African-Americans after the Civil War. Meg Oliver reports.
