Woman who convinced friend to commit suicide released from jail

Michelle Carter was released from jail after being convicted of manslaughter for encouraging her friend to kill himself in a series of text messages. The U.S. government has denied an extradition request for a diplomat’s wife charged in a fatal hit-and-run in the U.K. Anne Sacoolas fled the country after allegedly hitting 19-year-old Harry Dunn with her car.
