CDC quarantines 350 Americans over coronavirus

The CDC implemented its first public health quarantine in 50 years as 350 people are isolated over coronavirus fears. At least four American evacuees from Wuhan are now showing signs of sickness after landing in California on Wednesday. In Japan, two U.S. citizens have been diagnosed with coronavirus aboard a cruise ship, where 3,700 passengers are confined to their cabins for two weeks over health risks. New surveillance video reveals clues into missing Idaho kids case

New surveillance video may give investigators fresh insight into the disappearance of two kids in Idaho. The footage appears to show their mother, Lori Vallow, at a storage facility near their home shortly after the boy and girl were last seen in September. Vallow and her husband, Chad Daybell, are persons-of-interest in the case. Jonathan Vigliotti is inside the storage facility where authorities found troubling clues.

Mississippi state prisons under investigation after series of deaths

Four Mississippi state prisons are the focus of a federal civil rights investigation after a series of inmate deaths. At least 15 people have died inside state facilities since late December and as recently as last weekend. The probe will explore whether prison officials have done enough to adequately protect inmates from physical harm. The quality of mental health care and suicide prevention efforts are also under investigation.

Hollywood legend Kirk Douglas dies at 103

Kirk Douglas, one of the last surviving movie stars of Hollywood's legendary Golden Age, died at age 103 on Wednesday.
