Polar vortex could bring frigid temperatures as far south as Texas

Opening arguments in Trump impeachment trial to begin

Opening arguments will formally begin Wednesday in the second impeachment trial of former President Donald Trump, after six Republicans joined Democrats in voting to let the trial proceed. The 56-44 vote came after House impeachment managers previewed their case against Mr. Trump, using powerful video to walk senators through the January 6 assault on the U.S. Capitol that they say he incited.
