Emotions run high as Michael Brown is laid to rest

Nearly 2,500 people gathered to memorialize Michael Brown, the teenager who was shot dead by police in Ferguson, Missouri. The memorial was attended by members of Congress, civil rights leaders and celebrities. His parents requested that protestors take a night off in hopes of attaining an evening of peace. How valuable is California's early warning system for earthquakes?

A new early warning system developed at UC Berkeley provides a heads-up 10 seconds before an earthquake hits.
