Today’s weather: Clouds prevail, storms may bring hail

Weather conditions on Wednesday will remain similar to recent days, with cloud cover and isolated rain or storms at intervals. Some storms may be accompanied by hail, while higher mountain areas are expected to see snow or sleet.

Temperatures will rise to around 16 degrees Celsius inland and on the coast and to around 6 degrees in the higher mountains.

Weak to moderate winds will initially blow mainly southwesterly, at 3 to 4 Beaufort, becoming mainly northwesterly by the afternoon, generally moderate 4 Beaufort and may temporarily increase to 5 Beaufort.

The sea will initially be slightly rough to rough but will gradually become rough and wavy in the west.

During the night, the weather will be partly cloudy with a chance of local rains. Temperatures will drop to around 11 degrees Celsius on the west coast, around 9 degrees on the rest of the coast, 6 degrees inland and to 2 degrees in the higher mountains, where frost is expected to form locally.

The winds will blow mainly northwest, at weak to moderate 3 to 4 Beaufort and may temporarily increase in strength, reaching up to 5 Beaufort.

The sea will be a little rough to rough in the west.

Thursday, Friday and Saturday will remain cloudy, with rain and isolated storms, while snow or sleet is expected in the higher mountains. Temperatures are forecast to rise gradually over the coming days.
