Whisky campaigners are heading to the US for crunch talks on risks of fresh hikes in tariffs on single malts. Donald Trump’s administration slapped a 25 per cent levy on Scots whisky and liqueurs as part of a long-running row at the World Trade Organisation over aircraft subsidies.
