While working in collaboration with Broadcom to demo a universal U.3 backplane that can accommodate SAS, SATA, or NVMe drives, Toshiba also announced a couple of new PCI Express 4.0 solid state drives – the CD6 and CM6 – that offer massive throughput benefits over current-gen products.
