On April 6, Tom Brady filed to trademark the pun "Tompa Bay" for use on apparel. Problem is, no less a sports gab-meister than Dan Patrick is marketing t-shirts with the phrase, which he came up with while on air. Two prior trademarks for the pun are pending. A jolly trademark battle-royal brews.
