Since Tony Hawk landed the 900 at X Games 1999, only four others—Sandro Dias, Mitchie Brusco, Tom Schaar and Gui Khury—have done it in X Games vert. However, no one had been able to one-up Hawk with a 1080 on vert. That is, until now, with the trick claimed by 11-year-old Brazilian skater Khury.
