Sixers, Magic interested in Paul George
Ramona Shelburne: There are two teams right now they’re paying very close attention to Paul George, the Orlando Magic and the Philadelphia 76ers because both of them have the money to throw at him and have a need for a wing just like him, a veteran guy. Every time I watch the Sixers, I’m like ‘Oh, they could use Paul George, he could fit right there’. Paul George is from Los Angeles, I know the Clippers are going to make an effort to keep him.

But the Lakers aren’t the only team with a stash of picks. Even if a star demanded a trade this summer and preferred the Lakers, there are other teams that could easily exceed their offer. Remember in 2017 when Paul George wanted to go to the Lakers but the Thunder made a better offer to the Pacers? History could repeat. League sources expect the Jazz and Pelicans to be aggressive in pursuing trades this summer with their mountains of picks.
