Artist Mahesh Marne from Udupi district innovatively created a portrait of President Droupadi Murmu using sunlight and a magnifying glass. He spent two and a half hours in scorching heat to craft the 'Sun-Kissed Masterpiece,' which was later acknowledged by the Rashtrapati Bhavan. Mahesh, also skilled in leaf art, is recognized for carving celebrity portraits.
