OU Softball adds helmet emblem to honor Oklahoma legend Toby Keith
CLEVELAND COUNTY, Okla. - The University of Oklahoma's softball team added an emblem to the back of their helmets last week to honor legendary musician, Toby Keith, who passed away on February 5, 2024.

The team posted on "X" formerly known as Twitter, "We are forever grateful for a true friend and passionate supporter. Our time spent celebrating with TK will always remain in our hearts."
The added emblem is in the shape of the state of OK, with the name Toby inscribed with a heart.
The team also posted various photos of Toby Keith with the team over the years following the announcement on their X page @OU_Softball.
Toby Keith died last month after a long battle with stomach cancer.
