Boom in the Valley fireworks show canceled after fire breaks out leaving five injured
TUSKAHOMA, Okla. (KFOR) — A fireworks show, the Boom in the Valley, scheduled for Thursday has been canceled following an incident Wednesday evening that left at least five people injured.
According to the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, a fire broke out at around 6 p.m. on Wednesday at the Tuskahoma Capitol Grounds, as crews were preparing for the annual Boom in the Valley, leaving at least five people injured.
Officials say the cause of the accident is unknown at this time, and an investigation is underway.
