Texas man drowns at Lake Texoma after jumping from boat
MARSHALL COUNTY, Okla. (KFOR) — A 25-year-old Texas man drowned at Lake Texoma over the weekend after authorities say he jumped from a moving boat.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, 25-year-old Julio Aguilar IV from Sherman, Texas, had jumped from a moving boat and went underwater just after 4:45 p.m. on Saturday, and never resurfaced.
The drowning happened in Lake Texoma, around nine miles south of Kingston, in Marshall County.
No personal flotation device was used during the time of the incident, according to an OHP report.
Aguilar's body was recovered by the OHP Marine Enforcement Division just after 7:20 a.m. on Monday.
