Jamie Menard, of Rayne, was issued a list of traffic citations as well as a citation for flight from an officer, police said.
DUSON, La. (KLFY) -- An attempted traffic stop by Duson Police early Wednesday morning turned into a pursuit which ended in a single-vehicle crash, authorities said.
Jamie Menard, of Rayne, was issued a list of traffic citations as well as a citation for flight from an officer, police said.
Duson Police said when officers attempted to stop a utility truck for a traffic infraction, the driver began to accelerate and make evasive manuevers.
The suspect fled into Acadia Parish toward Rayne, authorities said. About a mile into the chase the driver lost control, left the roadway and flipped over. The pursuit ended with a utilty truck severely damaged and the driver with minor injuries.
