Jennings man sentenced in 2024 drive-by shooting case
JENNINGS, La. (KLFY) -- A Jennings man was sentenced after pleading guilty to multiple charges, including two counts of attempted first-degree murder in a shooting incident that occurred last year.
Jonah Uriah Landry, 24, pleaded guilty to two counts of attempted first-degree murder, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and assault by drive-by shooting.
Landry was the third arrest in a 2024 drive-by shooting Jennings Police said was gang-related.
Landry was sentenced to 30 years for the first-degree murder charges, 15 years for the possession of a firearm charge and 10 years for assault by drive-by shooting.
His sentences are to run concurrently, according to the District Attorney’s Office.
