Rayne man's death in pond ruled accidental in post-mortem report
RAYNE, La. (KLFY) -- New information suggests the death of a Rayne man whose body was found floating in a pond was an accidental death.
According to a post-mortem report by Gulf Coast Forensic Solutions, the cause of 45-year-old Joshua Marshall's death was acute combined drug toxicity. They also suggested drowning as a possible contributing factor in Marshall's death.
Marshall was found deceased in a private pond in the 1000 block of the Church Point in July. The manner of his death will be determined by the coroner.
