OPELOUASA, La. (KLFY) -- Urgent Care on the Go, launched by Steve Quebedeaux and Lennie Boulet, is bringing healthcare services directly to homes across Acadiana, expanding their reach to a 50-mile radius.
Co-founder, Lennie Boulet said the service aims to provide medical care to those who prefer not to visit crowded doctor offices, offering a range of services including IV infusions, weight loss programs, and urgent care. Over the past year, the company has refined its processes to better serve its customers.
"We expand our footprint so we reach out from from here we go about 50 mile radius from where we are. So it covers all of Acadiana." Lennie said. "Because we offer such a large variety of stuff from ivy infusions, weight loss, anything urgent care as well."
Steve Quebedeaux added how Urgent Care on the Go has made significant strides in integrating with major healthcare plans. They are fully credentialed with Medicare and Blue Cross, which has increased their daily volume of patients.
"We take all of your major medical insurance plans, Medicare, we are still trying to get Medicaid." Quebedeaux said. "We're not fully credentialed with Medicaid yet, but we are fully credentialed with Medicare, Blue Cross, all you big players. And that is made a huge difference in our in our daily volume. "
A notable addition to their offerings is their treatment plan for migraines, which they can administer both at their clinic and at patients' residences. This is particularly important given that 4 million people in the U.S. suffer from chronic migraines.
"We also got excepted to do Veptee, it's a new program. They do it quarterly for people with migraines. So now we can do that here at the clinic but we actually begin to go out to your residents and do that." Boulet said.
