LPSS updates dress code for cold weather
LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) -- With temperatures projected to reach below 55 degrees on Monday, Lafayette Parish School System has released a dress code update to ensure students stay warm while learning.
According to LPSS, students may wear jeans as part of the standard LPSS dress code. Students are also allowed to wear sweatpants on Monday due to the colder weather.
PreK through fifth grade students may wear jackets or coats with hoods, as usual.
Sixth through twelfth grade students may wear jackets or coats, but they must be hoodless, in keeping with the district’s standard dress code.
