Bishop J. Douglas Deshotel of the Diocese of Lafayette has issued guidance advising Catholics not to attend Sunday Mass if travel is deemed dangerous due to severe weather anticipated this weekend, and to instead make a Spiritual Communion, view a televised or online Mass, or engage in personal prayers.
