Hundreds without power in Northeast Kansas
TOPEKA (KSNT) - Power outages are being reported by Evergy and FreeState Electric in Northeast Kansas.
From Osage County north to Topeka, an estimated 924 Evergy customers are currently facing power outages following severe weather in the area. There are currently 33 outages impacting Evergy customers in Kansas with smaller outages reported near St. Marys and Junction City.
FreeState Electric is reporting 609 customers that are facing service issues. The largest area impacted is Osage City with 331 customers impacted followed by Shawnee County with 113 customers.
