TPD investigates 14th homicide of the year
TOPEKA (KSNT) - Topeka Police Department (TPD) is investigating the 14th homicide of 2025.
On Wednesday August 6th around 11:15 p.m., TPD responded to a shooting in the 100 block of NW Kendall Avenue.
According to a press release, officers located one person suffering from life threatening injuries.
While on the scene, medical personnel pronounced the victim dead.
This is the city's 14th homicide investigation this year. The investigation is ongoing and updates will be provided when they become available.
