Pleasant afternoon with isolated storms
What We’re Tracking
- Few isolated showers this morning
- Not as hot for the week ahead
- Heating back up for the weekend
There is some patchy fog in some spots this morning. We are also tracking some showers and thunderstorms, but they are isolated in nature, so rain chances still remain low today. Temperatures have dropped into the 60s.
Tuesday will be partly cloudy and light winds, with highs in the mid-80s. There’s a slim chance for an isolated storm or two during the afternoon, mainly southeast of I-35.
By Tuesday night, an upper-level ridge will begin to move overhead, bringing drier and sunnier weather into Wednesday. A gradual warming trend will take hold through the second half of the week, with highs climbing back into the mid-90s by the weekend, setting us up for another summer like stretch.
