At 4:10 p.m. Sunday, an officer tried to stop a red Chevrolet Camaro near the Five Corners area of the city's Irvington district, police said. But the Camaro failed to yield and fled south on Fremont Boulevard at a high rate of speed while discarding paperwork from its windows.
