Person stabbed near perimeter of San Jose State campus
SAN JOSE — Police said on early Friday morning that officers investigated a stabbing on the edge of the San Jose State University campus in downtown San Jose.
In a series of social media posts, police said a “stabbing incident” took place in the area of 4th and San Carlos Streets — an intersection that boarders the west side of San Jose State. Officers were notified of the incident at 4:17 a.m.
Police did not immediately disclose details, including the number of victims, the status of any victims or whether a suspect was identified. Several road closures were put into place Friday morning, however, on 3rd and 4th Streets, between San Carlos and San Fernando Streets.
