How to track power outages in central, southeast Ohio
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – Approximately 3,700 AEP customers, predominately in southeast Ohio, are experiencing power outages after Monday morning storms rolled through the state.
According to the AEP outage tracking map, the company is reporting 89 outages affecting 3,731 customers as of 7:05 a.m. Those totals include 11 outages and 366 customers in Franklin County.
Southeastern counties are experiencing the most outages, affecting 1,660 customers in Pike County, 954 customers in Athens County, 172 in Scioto County and 66 in Jackson County.
Delaware, Fairfield and Licking counties are experiencing only a few outages affecting less than 15 total customers.
