American comfort food restaurant opens in downtown Reynoldsburg
REYNOLDSBURG, Ohio (WCMH) – An American comfort food eatery recently launched its first standalone restaurant in downtown Reynoldsburg.
Slab Kitchen began welcoming customers at 7360 E. Main St. last week. The restaurant relocated from a shared space at Eastside Brewing Co., which also sits in Reynoldsburg. Slab Kitchen first opened as a food truck in 2019, before moving into the brewery, at 1421 Davidson Drive, in 2021.
Owned by brothers Bryan and Terron Nelson, the restaurant serves American comfort food, including barbecue baby back ribs, burgers, chicken wings and sandwiches. The concept also offers starters and sides such as soft pretzels, French fries, mac and cheese, cole slaw and onion rings.
Slab Kitchen’s new location boasts a full-service bar featuring craft cocktails and beer. While the eatery was only open during dinner time at Eastside Brewing Co., the new spot also offers lunch most days of the week.
The restaurant is open on Mondays and Tuesdays from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., Wednesdays through Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., according to its website.
