Delegates gathering in Yerevan for COP17 will discuss biodiversity goals, financing, indigenous rights, and environmental cooperation.
He said Armenia made a difficult decision to end the Karabakh movement and reassess long-held territorial perceptions.
He said voters now have a chance to choose new political forces built on programs and values rather than old divisions.
Levon Shirinyan called for the political defeat of what he described as a pro-Russian segment.

Vagharshak Harutyunyan said Armenia lacks a formal state position on major national issues, including Karabakh and the genocide question.
