Hospital authorities in the Gaza Strip say that at least four Palestinians have died following the collapse of walls onto tents sheltering displaced during rainfall and strong winds that lashed the coastal territory. Dangerous living conditions have plagued the Palestinian territory after more than two years of devastating Israeli bombardment and aid shortfalls. A ceasefire has been in effect since Oct. 10. But aid groups say that Gazans broadly lack the shelter necessary to withstand frequent winter storms. Hospital officials said Tuesday that the dead include two women, a 15-year-old girl and a 72-year-old man. At least five others were injured.
