A high-speed train in southern Spain derailed, colliding with another train and killing at least 42 people. Spanish authorities reported more than 150 other people were injured in the Sunday's crash. Rescue efforts continued Tuesday, with officials warning the death toll could rise. Authorities said the crash occurred near Adamuz, in Cordoba province, when a train from Malaga to Madrid went off the rails and hit an incoming train. The impact was so severe that bodies of victims were found hundreds of meters away. Transport Minister Óscar Puente called the crash "truly strange" and investigations are underway. Spain's high-speed rail network is Europe's largest.
