The deadline was set to expire at midnight Friday. Any Lucia Lopez Belloza was deported to Honduras in November despite a court order blocking her removal. A federal judge later ordered the government to bring her back within two weeks. Her lawyer says the government plans to detain the 19-year-old in Texas if she returns and is prepared to keep fighting on her behalf through appeals.
