A local member of parliament was among six people who died in a helicopter crash in Kenya. Saturday's crash happed in a hilly area of Nandi County in bad weather, police said. The helicopter went down minutes after takeoff and burst into flames. Police chief Samuel Mukuusi told journalists that all six people on board had died. Parliament Speaker Moses Wetang’ula said Johana Ng’eno had been a “devoted legislator and a committed servant of the people.”
