Iran’s “new potential leadership” has suggested it's open for talks with the United States after the American and Israeli attack. That's according to a senior White House official who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss internal administration deliberations. The official noted that President Donald Trump says he's “eventually” willing to talk, but that for now, the military operation “continues unabated.” Trump told The Atlantic that he planned to speak with Iran’s new leadership. A person familiar with operation says the CIA tracked top Iranian officials for months and shared intelligence with Israel, and the timing of the strikes was adjusted partly because of that information.
