Brooke Hogan ‘At Peace’ After Last Conversation With Dad Hulk Following Years-Long Estrangement

Brooke Hogan is mourning her father, Hulk Hogan, with a sense of peace — but not without complicated emotions.

Sources close to the singer and former reality star told TMZ that although the two had been estranged for years, Brooke was able to tell her dad she loved him during their final conversation in September 2023 — just two weeks before he married Sky Daily.

Hulk reportedly apologized during the call, though he didn’t specify for what, and Brooke urged him to slow down and prioritize his health. The advice wasn’t well-received. That was the last time they spoke. Even before then, Brooke was strictly in “no contact” with either of her parents.

Their fractured relationship had long been public, stemming from what insiders described as a culmination of unresolved hurt and Hulk’s unwillingness to meet Brooke halfway — even after she nearly died when she gave birth to her twins earlier this year. According to sources, Brooke’s husband made several attempts to repair the relationship, but Hulk largely remained distant, never making an effort to meet her children.

Still, Brooke is said to have always led with concern. Even in the face of dismissal, she remained protective of her father — and that final call, however strained, gave her a moment of closure.

It’s a reminder that estrangement doesn’t make loss less real. As problematic as Hulk Hogan’s legacy may be — marked by lawsuits, racist comments, and fractured personal ties — he was still Brooke’s dad.

Sources say she’s grateful she was able to say what mattered most: “I love you.” And now, in the wake of his death from cardiac arrest at his Clearwater home, she’s holding on to that peace.
