At 60, Paulina Porizkova Is Done Dimming Her Light for Love & Her Fiancé Is All for It
Paulina Porizkova is here to tell everyone who looking for love in their middle age that it is indeed possible to find your soulmate. The supermodel shared a sweet message to her Instagram followers about the lessons she’s learned about love with fiancé Jeff Greenstein.
The newly engaged couple were in Nice, France, and were sharing corny jokes about the sights they were seeing during their holiday — there’s at least one NSFW joke in the mix. Their chemistry is on display for everyone to see, and it’s easy to understand how they fit together like two peas in a pod. Still, the caption Porizkova wrote might be the ultimate gift to everyone.
“Two and a half years on, we still crack each other up,” she remarked. “All the time. He has an Emmy for being funny. We all know I do not. But he believes I’m funny. He laughs at my jokes. He tells me I’m funny. He makes me feel an equal partner at all times.”
It’s clear that Greenstein, who won an Emmy in 2000 as a co-executive producer of Will & Grace, makes Porizkova feel comfortable in her own skin. She continued, “I have never had that before. Men I’ve dated got very easily offended. And so, I had to dim down, so they wouldn’t take offense. Not this time. Not with him. I can laugh at him or with him; either way, he laughs right along. And yeah, sometimes he cracks a good joke.????”
Porizkova revealed their newly engaged status on Instagram in a July 9 video with a simple, “He asked” caption. The dynamic duo began dating in February 2023, and by October 2023, she was sharing how she used her single years after her split from Aaron Sorkin to meet the man of her dreams.
“In those years, I took stock of the woman I had become,” she said in an Instagram post. “It was this woman who met her equal – eight months ago. He likes to celebrate every moment, so here’s to you my love.”
But it’s a two-way street with Porizkova and Greenstein — he’s equally as smitten by the fashionista. In a February two-year anniversary post, he wrote, “The photo above was taken the day after we met. I think we knew something extraordinary was happening. Two years later, it still is. Happy anniversary, my darling.” The smiles on their faces tell a happy tale.
Porizkova was married to Cars lead singer, Ric Ocasek, from 1989 to 2017. He died in 2019 before they ever filed for divorce. They shared two sons, Jonathan Raven Ocasek, 31, and Oliver Ocasek, 27. Greenstein has never been married, but he was previously in a relationship with comedian Sarah J. Halstead.
