Relationship Expert Has Advice for Ana de Armas About ‘Removing’ Herself From Tom Cruise Romance
Ana de Armas and Tom Cruise may be falling for one another, but experts are giving Armas a steadfast warning about one part of Cruise’s life: his religion.
Relationship expert Jacob Lucas via Fruity Kings via US Express about how he thinks Armas and Cruise should navigate Scientology.
“It is possible for two people with completely different opinions on religion can come together and work very well,” she said. “The main thing is to consider the other person’s beliefs and accept that you won’t agree on everything,” he added. Jacob then noted, “If their religious values are from a foundation that is loving, caring and respectful, there won’t be issues.”
However, he had a warning: “If their opinions go against equality and general kindness, are extreme beliefs, and go against your values, you should put yourself above this and remove yourself from the situation. If your values don’t align, that can be very difficult to navigate.”
Not only do relationship experts see a potential problem with Armas and Cruise’s new romance, but so do former high-ranking Scientologists like Karen de la Carriere, who told DailyMail: “Tom Cruise’s love affairs are doomed. There is a honeymoon period with a lot of generosity and dazzling moments, and then reality sets in,” she said. “Scientology is very bait and switch. It starts off OK, especially when you’re the girlfriend of a superstar like Tom Cruise. But then you get to the higher, confidential levels and you find out things like you have 400,000 spirits attached to you and you have to spend the next 30 to 40 years peeling them off.”
For those who don’t know, Cruise was first spotted with de Armas on Valentine’s Day 2025 by Daily Mail. Given the timing, fans were quick to assume that they had a romantic connection. By May, sources confirmed their relationship. “It’s low-key, still new and in the early stages,” a source told Us Weekly. “Their romance is definitely on the down low.”
As of July 29, they made their debut by holding hands on a date day out, per TMZ.
