Katherine Schwarzenegger’s Mom Maria Shriver Is Grandma of the Year in Fun New Outing With Her Grandkids
Life is an adventure for Katherine Schwarzenegger and Chris Pratt’s three kids. And that’s thanks in part to their fun grandma, Maria Shriver! A new photo shows Shriver in full grandma mode at the lake, and it looks like a blast.
“Lake days ????,” Schwarzenegger, who shares daughters Lyla, 5, Eloise, 3, and Ford, 10 months, with husband Chris Pratt, wrote on Instagram. In the photos of the family enjoying the sunny day out on the water on a lake in Idaho is a special moment with Shriver and one of her granddaughters.
In this photo, Shriver is in the lake, holding her granddaughter in her arms. The little girl has her arm around her grandma as Shriver looks to be taking her to a floatie tethered to the boat. A grandma who jumps into the action with her grandkids? That’s amazing!
Shriver commented on the post, “Oh these are so cute ❤️what fun we have we are blessed ❤️”

The BDA Podcast host opened up about her parents, Shriver and Arnold Schwarzenegger, in a 2023 interview with The New York Times. “I know this sounds crazy, but I really would love to just do exactly what they did. I look back on how much of life my parents kept private, and I have a lot of respect for it,” she told the outlet.
“I want to be like how my parents always raised us to work really hard and to be really good people and to leave the world a better place,” she added.
