Sutton Foster Allegedly Worries Hugh Jackman 'Can't Be Trusted' Amid Another Rumored Love Triangle
The tables have allegedly turned in Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster’s relationship.
After allegedly beginning her relationship with Jackman as an affair, Foster is reportedly concerned that history might repeat itself amid Jackman’s new movie with Kate Hudson.
“Kate is flirty by nature. She’s warm, touchy. People get swept up,” an insider told Radar Online, adding that her Song Sung Blue co-star, 57, “responds right back.” All of this is reportedly raising concerns for Foster, 50, says the insider; “She’s protective of her relationship with Hugh.”
“She knows better than anyone that he can’t always be trusted around the people he works with,” says the source, alluding to Foster and Jackman’s relationship beginnings. This follows other reports about Foster’s concerns about Jackman and Hudson, including a source who told #ShuterScoop that Foster is “keeping one eye open. After everything Hugh went through with his estranged wife, Sutton knows better than anyone that he can cross lines without realizing it,” they said. “This spark is attracting attention — and Sutton knows it.”
The pair reportedly started dating while still married to other people during their time performing The Music Man together on Broadway in 2022.

Jackman and his ex-wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, announced their separation in September 2023, while Foster filed for divorce from her husband, Ted Griffin, in October 2024. At that point, affair rumors broke, which Furness appeared to confirm by allegedly liking an Instagram post about the rumors from a private account.
Furness later gave a statement on her divorce from Jackman, “My heart and compassion goes out to everyone who has traversed the traumatic journey of betrayal.”
Foster’s alleged concerns about Jackman and Hudson’s friendship might be misplaced because Hudson is happily engaged to musician Danny Fujikawa, with whom she shares her youngest daughter, Rani.
Jackman and Foster went public with their romance in January. They made their red carpet debut in October, followed by an Instagram debut the following month when Jackman celebrated Foster’s holiday performance at Cafe Carlyle.
