Kourtney Kardashian & Travis Barker Bought His Daughter Alabama Lingerie for Christmas in Eyebrow-Raising Move
Alabama Barker shared a video of her Christmas gift haul that’s going viral — but not necessarily for the estimated $200k price tag. No, the daughter of Travis Barker and ex Shannan Moakler garnered millions of views on her TikTok and tons of concerned comments because her dad and stepmom Kourtney Kardashian bought her expensive lingerie.
In the video on TikTok, Alabama shows off her designer purses, pink iMac computer, designer shoes, jewelry, and more presents. According to Cosmopolitan, a furry pair of Hermès slides from Kris Jenner retail for $1,250, a Chanel handbag from Kylie Jenner is worth $3,000, a Balenciaga bag from Kendall Jenner is worth $2,990. Plus, she got a pink Birkin bag from Kourtney and Cartier jewelry, among other exorbitant presents.
At one point, Alabama shows off a box of lacy thongs from Victoria’s Secret and lingerie (including four corsets, bras, underwear, and slips) from Agent Provocateur that she said her dad bought with the help of Kourtney. “Okay, so, my dad went a little crazy at Agent Provocateur,” she said in the video, per PEOPLE. “Kourtney picked out most of it and then the girl knows me there so she like, gave recommendations of what I like.”
In a Reddit thread talking about the video, people were questioning why Barker would buy his daughter lingerie. “Can’t just be normal can they,” one person wrote.
“Even if Kourtney picked out the stuff and he still paid why is LINGERIE the first thing and the best thing he thinks to buy his daughter. Even coming from a mum/step mum it’s pretty mad,” someone else commented.
“He could’ve just gotten her a gift card and let her go crazy if this was on her wish list. Ewwww,” someone else said.
Alabama went back on TikTok to defend her dad’s gift. In a new video, she said, “I have to go on a f—ing rant. Why the f— are you guys trying to make this lingerie thing a thing?” she said, per Tyla. “It’s never going to be a thing Gretchen. Kourtney picked out the lingerie. Kourtney. You think my dad’s like ‘I’m gonna go pick out my daughter lingerie?’ No, it was on my Christmas list and he wanted to make it happen for me so he let Kourtney go pick out the lingerie. God forbid a girl wanted cute panties and bras.”
She added, “Like literally, leave me alone. I’m literally never going to do another Christmas haul. I hate you guys.”
I see her point, but the explanation is still a bit odd. Maybe Barker should have stuck with the purses and cars, like he bought her in 2023 (a $150,000 Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon).
