Katy Perry & Ex Orlando Bloom Reunite for Rare Blended Family Moment
‘Tis the season for exes to reunite, apparently! As if we weren’t surprised enough that Kim Kardashian and ex Kanye West reportedly spent Christmas together with their four kids, now it’s confirmed that Katy Perry and ex Orlando Bloom did too! At least, part of their Christmas holiday. In new photos obtained by Page Six, the exes had a rare blended family moment at Paddington: The Musical in London.
Tarinn Callender, a singer for the musical, shared a cast photo with Bloom and Perry on their Instagram story, per Page Six. In the snap, cast members pose on stage with Paddington Bear. The “Teenage Dream” star smiles in a brown sweater and ball cap, as she smiles next to Bloom’s son Flynn, 14, who he shares with ex Miranda Kerr. Bloom crouches on the ground in a Paddington bear sweater and jacket, holding hands with his daughter Daisy Dove, 5, who he shares with Perry.
It seems like the former couple are on good terms right now if they are going to see a musical together as a family! Perry and the Pirates of the Caribbean star ended their engagement in July after nine years together. Since then, the “Bandaid” singer started dating former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and Bloom was linked with actress Rachel Lynn Matthews.
Despite their difference, Perry and Bloom have been working to remain cordial for their daughter. A source told PEOPLE in July, “They are there for Daisy and have been. Daisy is their angel, and they want to protect her from anything adverse.”
The source added, “They want to keep a friendly relationship so each can be around her separately or together.”
It seems like this latest outing has proved that source right. Hopefully they can maintain a healthy co-parenting relationship for the sake of the kids!
