Bindi Irwin’s Daughter Grace Shares a Drink with Minnie Mouse in the Most Heartwarming New Snap
Is there anything better than seeing your child’s caring heart in the wild? That’s what Bindi Irwin and husband Chandler Powell must feel every day watching their daughter Grace Warrior interact in the world. For example, the 4-year-old recently shared a drink with Minnie Mouse in the cutest new photo that highlights how big her heart is.
In a new photo carousel on Instagram, Bindi’s mom (and Grace’s “Bunny”) Terri Irwin shared several of her favorite photos from the last year. In Slide 16, Grace’s caring side comes out as she takes a sip of water. The toddler uses a striped straw to drink from a glass and holds up a Minnie Mouse plush next to her to pretend sip from a straw in an identical glass. It’s so cute and caring, and it shows how Grace is always thinking of others!
There are many heartwarming moments in the roundup, including Grace encounter a life-size cardboard cutout of her uncle Robert Irwin, Grace walking hand-in-hand with her Bunny, and Grace riding on a toy pony with a family friend. In one photo, Grace helps her mom feed a carrot to a cow. In another, she swings at a playground. One sweet snap shows her dad giving her jewelry before a Dancing with the Stars taping.
In many of the photos, Grace has a Disney toy, including plush dolls of Belle and Jasmine. It seems like Minnie is her favorite though. She even has an entire Minnie Mouse grocery store set-up, which she uses to sell groceries to her uncle in another photo.
“So grateful for every moment. 2025 will be a year to remember. ????” Terri captioned the post.
DWTS pro Witney Carson commented, “❤️❤️❤️❤️.” Another person commented, “I absolutely love all of these wonderful photos! Especially the one with Grace sharing her drink with Minnie Mouse ❤️”
“My heart melts with this family!! So precious and loving ????” someone else wrote. Another said, “Grace having Minnie drinking from a straw—precious!☺️”
Grace has loved Minnie Mouse for a while. Like last December, when she wore sparkly Minnie ears and held a Minnie plush to pet a koala with her dad. Powell captioned a photo of the sweet moment: “Koala joey time @australiazoo with Minnie Mouse is the best!! ????”
Another time, she wore a pink sparkly Minnie Mouse dress with a plush Mickey while she went on a piggyback ride with her uncle Robert.
In a previous interview with SheKnows, Irwin chatted about how important playtime is. “[P]laytime is so important because it gives kids the opportunity to have those building blocks for the foundation for the rest of their life. It really gives you this opportunity to learn and discover — almost like accidentally learning something along the way. You play and you’re building confidence, you’re expanding on your knowledge, and discovering the magic of the world around you.”
And it’s clear that Grace has learned that lesson as well!
