Bindi Irwin’s Daughter Grace Channels Her Inner Elphaba in a Stunning New Photo
If there’s anything we learned from watching Dancing With the Stars this season, it’s how much fun it is to move our bodies. Please tell me I wasn’t the only one twirling around my living room in socks and making my husband try out some of those unbelievable dance moves?! It seems like the dancing bug has bitten Bindi Irwin’s daughter Grace Warrior too, because she can’t get enough of wearing her ballgowns.
Bindi’s mom (and Grace’s “Bunny”) Terri Irwin shared a new photo of her granddaughter in a gorgeous emerald gown at Australia Zoo, and she is so cute!
“Dancing through life.????” Terri captioned a post on Instagram, quoting a song from Wicked. Sure enough, Grace looks just like Elphaba in a long-sleeve green lacy dress with a full bodice that is twirled out all around her. Her long brown hair is up in a bun as she dances outside at sunset, and it’s such an ethereal moment.
“The DWTS dresses continue at Australia Zoo with Grace! ????????????” one person noted. Another praised, “She is such a beautiful icon ✨????”
“Such a little princess ????????” someone else wrote.
Back when Grace’s uncle Robert Irwin was on DWTS this fall, we often got to see Grace dressed up for the live tapings. She was also super involved in what her uncle was doing. After one performance, Robert told Entertainment Tonight, “I just saw [my family] backstage, and they were just straight up screaming. And my little niece Grace comes up to me. And ‘Viennese waltz’ is a hard thing to say, right? When your four years old.”
“Well, she was like, ‘I loved your Viennese waltz. Your footwork was excellent,’” he said, mimicking his niece. “I’m like, ‘What the heck? Where did this come from? … Did you tell her to say that?’” he recalled asking his sister, who said she didn’t. “Grace is getting into this,” he continued. “I am serious. She’s going to be here [on a future season of DWTS]. I said to her, ‘Who do you want to be paired with?’ and she’s like, ‘Val.’” How adorable is that?!
Since her uncle and her mom both won Mirrorballs during their time on DWTS, we bet Grace will do the same when she’s old enough. But for now, we just love watching her spin around the Australia Zoo in her fancy dresses!
