Rumors That Aaron Rodgers' Wife Is 'Fake' Just Got Another Layer
When Aaron Rodgers spontaneously revealed he was married back in June 2025, we were left with more questions than answers about the identity of his new wife, Brittani.
Rodgers initially went public with his romance during a December 2024 episode of The Pat McAfee Show, where he name-dropped his “girlfriend Brittani.” Then, during a June 2025 press conference, the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback responded to speculation about a ring he was wearing, confirming that he secretly married “a couple months” ago.
Soon, social media speculation accusing the NFL star of faking his relationship began after journalists failed to find information about Brittani. The rumors were fueled when New York Jets WAGs Maranda Williams and Jessie Vera-Tucker told People in August 2025 that the former Jets player never introduced Brittani to anyone.
“It literally came out of nowhere,” Vera-Tucker said of Rodgers’ marriage announcement. “I never saw anyone. Never met anyone,” Williams added.
When Rodger returned to The Pat McAfee Show shortly after announcing his marriage, he said that his wife stays out of the public eye, explaining, “My private life is staying private. I’m with somebody who wants to be private.”
“Because I do things in private because I want my personal life to be private, I’m now weird and have the paparazzi stalking me,” he said. “What happened to common decency about security and a personal life?”
“Now we have to dive into details of where you live, what you’re doing and who you’re with, who your wife is and if you even have a wife, and if you’re doing so sort of attention-grabbing thing – because my wife is a private person, doesn’t have social media.”
That should have been enough to end the speculation until a viral TikTok post formed a new theory: Is Rodgers married to an AI chatbot?
Mariah Rose, a sports journalist and influencer who is coincidentally the daughter of NBA star Jalen Rose, formed the theory in a video that has been viewed over 600k times. “Aaron Rodgers has been in a ton of really strange and public relationships,” Rose speculated. “So, he is not the most private guy with his dating life. Maybe that scarred him to secrecy, or he is dating an AI chatbot, I am sorry, married to an AI Chatbot.”
In the comments section, users echoed the theory, and with AI relationships on the rise, it’s not the most far-fetched assumption. However, given what Rodgers has said about his past public romances with stars like Olivia Munn and Shailene Woodley, he may just be opting for a more private approach this time around.
“I didn’t do myself any favors with some of the girls I dated after that that were in the public eye,” he said during his June appearance on The Pat McAfee Show. “I definitely hated it at first — like, really despised it. I enjoyed my private life.”
