The Touching Detail Fans May Have Missed With Singer Perrie Edward’s Rainbow Baby’s Name
Little Mix alum Perrie Edwards just welcomed her second child, and fans may have missed the truly touching detail in her baby girl’s name.
In case you missed it, on Jan 17, Edwards shared the sweetest snapshot of her newborn baby girl, with her, her partner, and their son’s hands wrapped around the baby. She posted the photo with the newborn’s name, saying, “Alanis Valentine ????”
As you can see in the darling black-and-white snapshot, the family of four is bursting with joy. But we need to talk about her name! Her name has so much meaning behind it, but there’s a detail fans may have missed about why they chose her first name.
Edwards got her start on The X Factor, when, back in 2011, and she was 17 years old, she got in the competition by singing “You Oughta Know” by Alanis Morissette.
It’s really the song that jump-started her entire singing career, and it’s such a beautiful homage all around.
For those who don’t know, Edwards and footballer Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have been together since 2016. They started dating in Nov 2016 but didn’t make their relationship public until Feb 2017.
They welcomed another rainbow baby, their son named Axel, in Aug 2021. And now they’re parents of two with their rainbow baby daughter, Alanis Valentine!
