Meghan Reportedly Feels ‘Vindicated’ Victoria’s ‘Manipulation’ Has ‘Finally Been Exposed’ Years After Brooklyn’s Mom Attended Her Wedding—There’s a ‘Pattern of Control’
It looks like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are Team Brooklyn Beckham. A source told Rob Shuter‘s Naughty But Nice Substack in a report published on January 21 that the Duchess of Sussex feels “vindicated” in the public’s negative reaction to Victoria Beckham after her eldest son accused her and David Beckham is “countless lies.”
“Meghan is watching all of this unfold and can’t help but feel satisfied,” the insider said. “Victoria’s pattern of control, manipulation, and constant undermining has finally been exposed.”
The source continued, “Brooklyn’s statement just confirms what Meghan already knew. She removed herself from drama she didn’t need and is now watching as the consequences land squarely at Victoria’s feet.”
The report comes after Victoria and David attended Meghan’s wedding to her husband, Prince Harry, in 2018. The report also comes as another source told Shuter that Harry connected Brooklyn with the publisher for his 2023 memoir, Spare, after the celebrity son’s statement against his parents. “Harry sees a lot of himself in Brooklyn,” the insider said, referencing Harry’s own drama with his father, King Charles, and brother, Prince William. “He doesn’t want Brooklyn to make the same emotional and strategic mistakes he made when he first broke away.”
The source continued, “Harry told him: don’t burn everything at once. You only get one chance to tell your story the right way.” The insider also explained the exact advice he gave Brooklyn after his own family feud.
“Harry stressed that honesty works best when it’s controlled, thoughtful, and human,” the source said. “He told him the freedom is real — but so is the fallout. You lose people. You get misunderstood. And once it’s out there, you can’t take it back. This is mentorship born from scars. Harry’s trying to help him survive the part no one prepares you for.”
In a series of Instagram Stories in January 2026, Brooklyn confirmed that he would never reconcile with David and Victoria after his parents’ “endless attacks” against him and his wife, Nicola Peltz, whom he married in 2022.
“The night before our wedding, members of my family told me that Nicola was ‘not blood’ and ‘not family.’ Since the moment I started standing up for myself with my family, I’ve received endless attacks from my parents, both privately and publicly, that were sent to the press on their orders. Even my brothers were sent to attack me on social media, before they ultimately blocked me out of nowhere this last Summer,” he wrote.
In another section of his post, Brooklyn accused his parents of controlling the “narrative” around his family in the media. “For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family. The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into,” he wrote. “Recently, I have seen with my own eyes the lengths that they’ll go through to place countless lies in the media, mostly at the expense of innocent people, to preserve their own facade. But I believe the truth always comes out.”
