Costco Just Added a New Comfort Food Meal to Its Prepared Food Section & It's Going to Be Your Kids' New Favorite Dinner
If you tend to lose track of time wandering the Costco aisles like we do (especially at dinnertime!), then you know the samples don’t always cut it. Next time a long Costco run makes you hungry, grab one of their new comfort food meals in the prepared food section for an easy dinner at home!
Instagram user @discovering_costco spotted a delicious-looking new meal that even kids will love in a new video, and it’s a classic: grilled cheese and tomato soup.
“Comfort food made easy ????” the account captioned a video on Tuesday. “The new Kirkland grilled cheese with tomato soup is the ultimate cozy combo—perfect for quick lunches or no-fuss dinners ????✨”
In the clip, @discovering_costco picked up a package of their grilled cheese and tomato basil soup, which includes four Brioche grilled cheese sandwiches with Swiss and Cheddar cheese (topped with butter) and two containers of soup. It looks restaurant-quality with its fluffy bread and creamy-looking soup. The best part? The entire dinner is just $4.99 per pound! Talk about a great way to feed a family of four on a budget.

If you have as hard of a time finding food your kids like as I do, then you know this new comfort food option will be a lifesaver. And, sure, we could whip up grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup at home, but it’s much faster this way (again, as a busy mom, I really appreciate it!).
