Insiders Dish On Tom Brady & Gisele Bündchen's Co-Parenting Relationship: 'The Divorce Was Not Easy'
Things couldn’t be more different for exes Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen. Insiders just dished about how they are co-parenting their kids Benjamin, 16, and Vivian, 13, from a distance.
While the retired NFL quarterback is busy living up the single life with Alix Earle, Bündchen is enjoying a quiet private life with her husband Joaquim Valente and their 1-year-old baby boy. The supermodel lives in Miami and spends a lot of time in Brazil and Costa Rica. A source told Us Weekly, “Gisele’s life now is much more private. It’s more in line with who she is. It’s a life she dreamed of.”
Another source added, “She always envisioned this slower-paced lifestyle for herself and her children, surrounded by nature and removed from ‘the business.’ She’s at peace.”
With that being said, Brady seems busier than ever. The football star, who also shares son Jack, 18, with ex Bridget Moynahan, has been seen partying with celebrities like Leonardo DiCaprio and Glen Powell and working as a Fox Sports commentator. A source close to Brady told the outlet, “Tom is genuinely enjoying this chapter. He sees himself as a single dad who finally has some freedom and is enjoying his life without overthinking it.”
Despite their differences, Bündchen and Brady are working together to raise their kids — even if they don’t have any type of relationship beyond that.
“Tom and Gisele only communicate when it comes to the kids,” one insider told Us Weekly. “The dust has settled, but he tries not to meddle in her personal life. He hears things from the kids here and there, but tries to stay neutral. They have a good coparenting schedule.”

Another source shared, “Tom and Gisele shared some mutual friends from the time they were married, but she doesn’t really socialize with them anymore. Her life has really changed. They share children and will always have that connection, but the divorce was not easy for either of them.”
It seems like they found a way to co-parent that works for them, despite their many differences, and that’s so good for their kids.
The exes also seem to stay out of each other’s romantic lives. A source told Entertainment Tonight in Aug. 2023 that Bündchen is “focused on their children, co-parenting, and maintaining a good environment for everyone.”
“Gisele’s main priority is to make sure their kids feel loved and cared for,” the insider added. “She wants to set a positive example for them and Gisele is doing her own thing.”
The Victoria Secret Angel hinted about co-parenting with Brady in a March 2024 interview with Robin Roberts. “I think there are easier days than others but I think it’s amazing that the kids…they’re super smart children. They know what they can get away with,” she said.
“So I think it’s natural that [our houses] have different rules and then kids just adapt,” she continued. “And they’re going to try to do what they want. And I can only control what I do. And I think for me, now is really about the balance.”
“Tom has to have time with them, and I have time with them, which I think is amazing because they get to really experience more enrichment for their lives,” Bündchen added. “Two different worlds and they get to learn from two different worlds and that’s wonderful for them I think. They’re so big.”
